John 1:35-42
This is John’s account of how the first disciples came to Jesus. It is surprisingly simple. There were no signs or wonders, just an exchange of words between a few young men who were sincere about discovering God’s will for their lives. John wants us to see that God is closer now than ever before. In Christ, God is now at work in our conversations and in our daily interactions. Jesus’ invitation is to “come and see”. He’s with us now to discover the true meaning of life.
